    Waikiki Beach

    Spanning two miles along Pacific Ocean and the Oahu's south shore, world-famous Waikiki Beach is made up for of 8 sections of pristine beaches, perfect for swimming, sailing, surfing, kayaking, canoe paddling, snorkeling, boogie boarding, or catching a golden tan. Learn to surf, marvel at the beautiful Waikiki sunsets, and stroll along the Waikiki Beach Walk.

    Fort DeRussy Beach Park

    Spanning the upper Waikiki strip, Fort DeRussy Beach Park offers a large sandy beach and a grassy park setting with palm trees. Once a military base, the parks is a scenic spot for swimming, picnics, and sunbathing. The park also offers a free military museum, shady play areas, picnic tables, grills, tennis and volleyball courts, and a playground equipment for kids.

    Royal Hawaiian Beach

    Also known as Waikiki Beach Center, this lively spot is perfect for travelers looking to catch a wave. You won't have to walk far to find surf shacks offering lessons, board rentals, and even Hawaiian outrigger canoe and catamaran rides. 

    Kuhio Beach 

    This popular, narrow beach on the south shore of Waikiki offers excellent snorkeling and bodyboarding for families. Kids can swim freely in the calm ocean, which is protected from the waves by an offshore reef with two concrete walls that stretch 40 yards into the ocean.

    Queen’s Beach

    Known as Kapiolani Park Beach, Queen's is located just after the Kuhio Ponds near the southeast end of Waikiki. Perfect for relaxing and sunbathing, this beautiful stretch of sand is also a great surfing spot. Go boogie boarding in the rolling waves along the Waikiki Wall, a walking pier with views of the Waikiki skyline. The beach is home to a large outdoor screen for movie nights called "Sunset on the Beach" with live music, food stalls, and entertainment.

    San Souci Beach

    This family friendly stretch of Waikiki Beach is a local's spot with a quiet park. San Souci Beach is one of the best spots on Oahu's south shore to snorkel with a reef 50 yards into the ocean teeming with marine life. San Souci Beach is also a haven for swimmers, kayakers and surfers who take advantage of a natural ocean channel.

    Duke Kahanamoku Beach

    Located at Waikiki's western top, near the Ala Moana channel and harbor, Duke Kahanamoku Beach is the widest beach in Waikiki, perfect for fun on the sand. Named after Hawaii's legendary surfer and Olympic swimming champion, Kahanamoku Beach is the perfect sandy stretch for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and of course, surfing!

    Waikiki Beach Tips

    Oahu and Waikiki offer endless miles of white sand and turquoise waters. Expect to find a nice selection of watersports, recreation, and beach activities at several beaches across the island.
