These Terms and Conditions become effective on August 8, 2024 and will completely replace any prior version to which you agreed. Please be aware that your continued use of the OPM Program constitutes your acceptance of these updated Terms and Conditions.

 

OUTRIGGER PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP (“OPM”)

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the OUTRIGGER Platinum Membership (“OPM” or “Membership”) program!  Your Membership provides a multitude of exclusive savings and benefits when you stay at participating properties that are owned, managed, and/or operated by OUTRIGGER Hotels Hawaii (“OUTRIGGER”).  Your participation in OPM is governed by these Membership Terms and Conditions (“T&C”), as well as any updates or modifications which may be made from time to time by OUTRIGGER. As an OPM Member (“Member”), you agree to comply with these T&C.

 

1. Eligibility.  Membership in OPM is available to individuals of majority age in their state of residence. Companies, corporations, associations, entities or groups are prohibited from enrolling in OPM. The OPM Club Director will review all applications and approve or deny all such applications for membership.  By applying for OPM, you certify that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Membership .  OPM Membership is personal to you. Only one individual membership may be registered per person. Your use and access rights related to OPM may not be assigned or conveyed, except as otherwise provided in the T&C. You acknowledge and understand that you and permitted accompanied guests will have any such rights as set forth in the T&C and/or any attached Exhibits. You will be considered in good standing for so long as you are in compliance with the T&C.

3. Enrollment and upgrade in GHA DISCOVERY Loyalty Program. As an OPM member, your membership will be associated with a GHA DISCOVERY account. Processing of GHA DISCOVERY Platinum Membership tier status will be managed by OPM and GHA DISCOVERY on your behalf. By enrolling, you accept the GHA DISCOVERY Programme Terms and Conditions and understand that your personal data will be treated in line with the GHA DISCOVERY Privacy Policy and the OUTRIGGER Privacy Policy.

4. Membership Fee.  The Membership costs include (a) a one-time, non-refundable initiation fee in the amount of $1495.00 (“Initiation Fee”) and (b) an annual Membership fee of $295.00 (“Annual Membership Fee”).  The Initial Fee is due upon acceptance into OPM.  The Annual Membership Fee is waived for the first year of membership and is due for each successive year on the one-year anniversary of your membership ("Membership Anniversary"), exactly twelve (12) months from the Initiation Fee payment, and each year thereafter.  All fees, including the Initiation Fee and Annual Membership Fee are subject to applicable taxes and the amount of the fees may change from time to time.  Annual Membership Fees may increase annually at the sole discretion of OUTRIGGER, provided that such increases shall not be by more than 10% of the then-existing Annual Membership Fee. Once paid, the Initiation Fee and Annual Membership Fees are non-refundable.

5. Membership Term. OPM Membership is an annual membership for a fixed twelve (12) month period starting from the date of your Initiation Fee payment. Upon your Membership Anniversary, your membership will automatically renew for a new twelve (12) month term. GHA DISCOVERY Membership tier status and loyalty benefits are maintained in accordance with the GHA DISCOVERY Programme Terms & Conditions.

6. Payment.  Your membership will automatically renew each year and your credit card on file will be billed for the Annual Membership Fee on your Membership Anniversary.  By signing below, you hereby authorize OUTRIGGER to automatically bill your credit card on file for the Annual Membership Fee.  You may opt-out of automatic renewals by providing written notice to the Club Director prior to your Membership Anniversary.

7. Termination of Membership.  You may resign from your Membership by providing the OPM Club Director with written notice at any time.  Once paid, the Initiation Fee and Annual Membership Fees are non-refundable. Upon resignation, you will no longer have any rights, benefits or privileges under OPM after the remainder of any then-current Membership Term. You will continue to maintain GHA DISCOVERY benefits, including GHA DISCOVERY Membership tier status and earned DISCOVERY Dollars (D$), and may continue to book reservations at participating properties. If you wish to close your DISCOVERY account, you must do so though GHA DISCOVERY processes outlined in the GHA DISCOVERY Privacy Policy.

8. Benefits and Use of the PLATINUM Promotion Code.  Specific benefits have been established for OPM and are outlined on Exhibit A. To qualify for these benefits, members must book their stays using the "PLATINUM" promotion code on OUTRIGGER.com or by calling OUTRIGGER’s Global Call Center at 1-800-442-7308.  All other reservations, including but not limited to reservations made on third-party websites, alternative booking engines, travel agents, or group bookings do not qualify for OPM benefits or discounts.

   Members may book a maximum of one (1) room per stay with the PLATINUM promotion code and benefits are extended only to guests staying in the Member’s room. OUTRIGGER, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to prepare, maintain, and offer differing benefits, costs, fees, rules, procedures, and conditions to various Members. OUTRIGGER also reserves the right to add, modify, delete, or otherwise change the rules, procedures, or conditions pertaining to OPM benefits in its sole discretion. Certain benefits are also subject to availability and may be outside the control of OUTRIGGER. Therefore, OUTRIGGER assumes no liability for any changes to such Benefits. All benefits related to accommodations are on a first-come, first-served basis and membership in OPM does not guarantee room or benefit availability for any Member. Members are specifically prohibited from offering, marketing, selling, renting, or transferring any benefits under OPM to any third party, except as otherwise specifically permitted under OPM.

9. Member Information and Privacy.  By providing the address(es), email address(es), and phone number(s) on a membership application, you give OUTRIGGER express written permission to contact you at each number or address in accordance with the terms and conditions of OUTRIGGER’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available at outrigger.com. You are responsible for notifying the Club Director of any changes in contact or relevant personal information, including mailing address, phone number, email addresses. All notices, invoices and social correspondence relating to membership in OPM shall be sent to your address or email address on file. You may make changes by contacting the Club Director directly at 1 (808) 924-4960 or platinum@outrigger.com.

10. Supplemental Membership.  A married couple or partners in a civil union may acquire one (1) additional membership at no additional cost provided that such spouses or civil partners complete the application and approval process, accept GHA DISCOVERY enrollment, and sign these T&C. Each spouse or civil partner will be jointly and severally liable for all fees, charges, and other liabilities associated with the OPM membership agreement. In the event of the legal dissolution of your marriage or civil union, the Membership, including all of its rights, benefits and obligations, will vest in the spouse or civil partner who is awarded the Membership under a divorce decree or other agreement of the spouses or civil partners. Until the Membership is finally awarded to one of the spouses or civil spouses, both spouses or civil partners will remain jointly and severally liable for all fees, charges, and other liabilities under the T&C and both spouses or civil partners may continue to use the Membership provided the Member, his/her spouse or civil partner and the Membership are in good standing under the T&C.

11. Transfer of Membership.  Membership in OPM is not transferable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of a Member’s death, Member’s Membership agreement shall transfer to the surviving spouse or civil partner, if any, upon written request from the surviving spouse or civil partner. To be effective, the surviving spouse or civil union partner must agree to comply with the T&C, including but not limited to being responsible for any payments that are owed under OPM. Upon transfer, the surviving spouse or civil union partner will be assigned a membership account for OPM and GHA DISCOVERY.

12. Misuse of Membership.  You acknowledge that OPM provides benefits solely for you and permitted accompanied guests. You shall not allow any unauthorized use of his/her membership and/or membership card. You shall not participate in any plan or scheme to redistribute memberships in any form or capacity. You are liable for any costs, expenses and other liabilities and claims relating to, arising from or incurred in connection with the misuse or misappropriation of membership cards issued to Member, Member’s spouse or civil partner, or Member’s children.

13. Amendments and Modifications.  OUTRIGGER reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion (i) to make any changes to the T&C, including any and all the exhibits attached hereto, or in the use of the participating properties including restriction of certain dates and rooms without advance written notice, and (ii) to sell, lease or otherwise dispose of the participating properties without advance written notice.

14. Right to Refuse or Terminate Membership.  OUTRIGGER reserves its right to refuse and/or cancel any membership at any time. In the event OUTRIGGER cancels a membership without cause, you shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund of any annual membership fees for the remainder of any then-current Membership Term.

15. Binding.  All of the provisions, terms, covenants and conditions of the T&C shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.

16. Severability.  If any provision of the T&C, or the application thereof, to any person or circumstance shall to any extent be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the T&C (including the application of such provision to persons or circumstances other than those to which it is held invalid or unenforceable) shall not be affected thereby, and each provision of the T&C shall be valid and enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction.  The T&C and its application shall be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Venue shall also reside in Hawaii and Hawaii shall have personal jurisdiction over the parties hereto.

OPM Reservation Rules & Procedures

Reservations

Members (or Member’s spouse or civil union partner in the case of a Supplemental Membership) may book a reservation to receive the OPM discount off of the daily published flexible room rates. To qualify for these benefits, members must book their stay using the "PLATINUM" promotion code on OUTRIGGER.com or by calling OUTRIGGER’s Global Call Center at 1-800-442-7308. If a stay is not initially booked with the PLATINUM promotion code, it can be rebooked under this code prior to arrival; however, rebooking may result in a rate increase or reservation policy change. Reservations made via other third party websites, booking engines, travel agents, group bookings, etc. are not eligible for the OPM discounts or benefits.

Members may book a maximum of one (1) room per stay with the PLATINUM promotion code and benefits are extended only to guests staying in the Member’s room. There is no maximum length of stay, however, length of stay is subject to room availability.

 

Room Discounts

All discounts will be based on the published daily flexible room rate. OPM discounts may not be combined with other discounts (military, kama'aina, AAA, etc.). Discounts are subject to availability at the time of booking. 

Except as otherwise provided in Exhibit A, discounts apply to the published daily flexible room rate only and do not apply to any applicable taxes, fees, and gratuities.
